I am a cute cuddly boy. A little short which makes me look younger than I am! I love to play and run either by myself or with a playmate. So far I only know cats and kids. i haven’t met any dogs so I am not sure that I like them. The most important thing to know about me is that I have diabetes insipidous. Diabetes insipidus (DI) is an endocrine disorder that affects the body's ability to regulate water balance, leading to excessive thirst (polydipsia) and urination (polyuria). In my case, it is caused by a deficiency in the production or release of antidiuretic hormone (ADH) from the pituitary gland. The symptoms are: Excessive thirst and water consumption Frequent urination, often dilute and clear, and Dehydration (if not treated). Treatment: Replacement therapy with synthetic ADH (desmopressin) Prognosis: With proper treatment, most cats with DI can live long and healthy lives. Regular monitoring and medication administration are essential for managing the condition. Additional Information: DI is a rare condition in cats.
