From 9 Lives Cat Rescue of Oxford MS

Punkin is a sweet 2-year-old indoor-only cat who has recently lost the only home he’s ever known. His owner, a retired lady, had to undergo surgery and move into housing where pets are not allowed, making it heartbreakingly necessary to surrender him. This sudden change has made Punkin understandably shy, and he will need a patient, quiet home where he can adjust at his own pace. Punkin is not comfortable around other cats and would do best as the only pet, where he can feel secure and not have to compete for space or attention. He thrives in a calm, low-stress environment and would be a great match for someone who appreciates a more reserved companion. He is currently overweight and would benefit from a gradual diet and gentle exercise to improve his health. With time, stability, and love, Punkin will blossom into a loyal and comforting companion. If you’re looking to give a shy cat a second chance in a peaceful home, Punkin is ready to meet you.
