Portia Meet Portia — a gorgeous calico girl with just the right amount of sass and a whole lot of sweetness. Like her brother Cal, Portia has been returned twice, and not because of anything she did wrong. She and her brother have simply had an incredibly unfair run of bad luck with people who weren’t able to make the lifetime commitment they deserved. Her first adoption ended after a major health scare with Cal made it clear that her adopter wasn’t able to provide the care they needed. The second adopter promised it would be forever — but a new job and a new boyfriend apparently changed the equation. And once again, Portia and her brother were the ones left behind. None of this is their fault. They deserve a family who understands that adopting a cat means committing to them through all of life’s changes — not just when it’s convenient. Portia is a calico through and through: she’s got opinions, she’s got personality, and she’s absolutely not afraid to let you know what she thinks. But underneath that sassy little exterior is an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl who loves her people and has so much love to give. She came from a LARGE brood, raised by an amazing mama named…
