From Trenton Cats Rescue

One-year-old Pistachio, a stray, owes her unusual coat markings to a neat genetic trait called tortoiseshell, or tortie. Torties are almost always female, as this is the gene is sex-linked. They tend to be smart and loyal to their owners. This little lady requests a forever home that will devote significant time to chin scratches, for which she'll reward you by melting in your hands and purring robustly. If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!
