Meow meet Phoebe! She is an adorable dilute tortoiseshell girl with a gentle, quiet sweetness that makes her incredibly special. She may seem a little shy when you first meet her, but give her some time to feel comfortable and you’ll discover a true little love bug who enjoys pets, being held, and simply being close to her people. Phoebe has a bit of an old-soul quality about her. She’s calm, gentle, and perfectly content to take things at her own pace. And if you happen to have her favorite Sheba wet kitten food available, well…you may become her new best friend! We don’t know what happened during Phoebe’s short life, but she was found as part of a cat colony and needed help. Both of her back legs had been fractured at some point and had fused together incorrectly. When we first met her, we weren’t sure just how much that might limit her. Phoebe, however, had other plans! She has adapted remarkably well and has surprised us with what she can do. She can manage stairs, jump onto beds, and get around far better than expected. She has shown us that sometimes you simply have to give a little girl the opportunity to show you what she is capable of. Phoebe may move a little…
