Phil is a gentle 6‑year‑old boy who survived life as a stray and arrived with painful injuries to his front paws. Thanks to treatment, he has healed beautifully and is now ready for his forever home! His eyes may look a little sad, but his heart is pure sweetness—he loves being petted and would make a wonderfully affectionate companion. Phil will need to be an indoor‑only cat to keep him safe and healthy. He is litterbox train and good with kids and other cats but is not a friend of dogs. Phil also happens to be FIV‑positive, but this doesn’t stop him from living a long, happy life with the right care. FIV isn’t contagious through everyday cat behaviors and is no longer considered a barrier to adoption. What Phil needs most is someone with a big heart who can see past the label and appreciate the loving, resilient boy he is. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) isn’t a scary diagnosis—it’s simply a part of who some cats are. FIV‑positive cats can live long, happy, completely normal lives with the same love and care any cat needs: a safe indoor home, good food, and regular vet checkups.
