Starting October 6, all cats and kittens are FREE to adopt! Come find your new best friend today! Soft as Velvet, Sweet as Can Be, and Ready to Be Your Best Friend! Meet PBS! This handsome 9-month-old black cat sports a charming little white triangle on his chest and has one of the softest coats you'll ever have the pleasure of petting. PBS came to us when his previous owner was no longer able to care for him and his brothers, and now he's ready to find a loving forever home of his own.Out of all his siblings, PBS is the biggest sweetheart. He loves attention, enjoys being around people, and has a gentle, affectionate personality that makes him an easy cat to love. He's done wonderfully with children and would make a fantastic addition to a family looking for a friendly feline companion. While PBS has not lived with dogs before, he did spend some time outdoors and was exposed to a dog. Because of this, we believe he could adjust well to a respectful, cat-savvy dog with proper introductions and a little patience as he learns that dogs can be friends, too!If you're searching for a loving, velvety-soft companion who will happily steal your heart, PBS might just be the perfect match…

How adopting PBS works

Humane Society of Kent County Maryland Inc. decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
