From Bond County Humane Society

Nitro's story began with a second chance. Found at just two weeks old alongside his siblings in the parking lot of an E-M-S base, he was given a name inspired by life-saving medication. And it fits him well: nitroglycerin doesn't jolt the heart, it eases its burden, and that's exactly the gift Nitro brings to a room. He's curious by nature, always the first to investigate a new toy or a strange sound, but there's a settledness to him that keeps things from ever tipping into chaos. He loves a good gentle play session, pouncing and batting with real enthusiasm, but he always seems to know when to dial it back down. With his creamy grey tabby coat, silver undertones, and those warm, expressive eyes, he has a quiet charm that draws people in without him ever trying too hard. In his foster home, he's gotten along beautifully with kids, teens, and adults alike, and he enjoys the company of his littermates too. Nitro isn't the kitten who demands the spotlight. He's the one who makes a room feel calmer just by being in it, the steady heartbeat behind all the excitement around him. He's hoping for a forever family who can appreciate that easy balance of curiosity and calm, and who'll find…
