From Community Animal Welfare Society

Mittens is a very special kitty. She's very shy, but so very sweet. She and her sister, Socks, have had to move around a lot so they are understandably nervous to meet new people and need time to decompress and a place to feel safe. It will take time, but she will come to you when she is ready to trust, feels safe, and wants attention. If you are willing to be patient and give her the time she needs, you will be rewarded with head butts and purrs, and she will start to show her silly, sweet personality. She’s the softest cat you’ll ever pet! She loves playing with ribbon wands and becomes the silliest girl as she runs and jumps around to play. She is very food motivated and loves her wet cat food and treats.Mittens will do best in a quiet home, preferably without children. She currently lives with a dog and could possibly live with a calm dog with a slow introduction. She must be adopted with her sister, Socks, as she relies on Socks for comfort and confidence. They will need to be the only kitties in the household. Are you the perfect, patient person ready to help Mittens shine like the star she is?
