Mateo and Martina (mom is Lucia) are sweet kittens who enjoy pets very much. They came to us nearly starving to death. A teen girl was trying to care for them the best she could in a crate in the backyard because her parents would not allow them in the home but they had no money for food either. So we saved them from that difficult situation and they have been thriving after their recovery, dealing with the parasites, and getting them well. Now they deserve comfort and love for the rest of their life. No more wondering where their next meal will come from. No more worrying about the predators outside or being run over in a busy street. Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Mateo and Martina or visit them during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm. Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.

How adopting Martina works

Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
