She may take a little time to feel comfortable in a new place, but once she decides she is safe, Maisie is all about affection. Her foster describes her as a “velcro kitty” with her people. She loves pets, enjoys being close, and is very happy to settle in with someone who is willing to sit still and let her soak up attention. Maisie has been through a lot of change recently, so we are looking for a home that will give her a little patience up front and plenty of love once she is ready. She is not the kind of cat who needs to be rushed. She just needs someone who understands how rewarding it can be when a shy-to-start cat decides you are her person. Maisie coexists well with other cats, but she is not bonded and would make a wonderful individual companion. She may also do well with a calm, compatible cat who respects her space. Sweet, affectionate, and quietly devoted, Maisie is ready for a soft landing and someone to love her back.
