From Adams County Animal Shelter

Meet LucyLucy is a curious, independent, and wonderfully talkative senior gal who knows exactly what she likes. In her previous homes, she earned the title of a “talkative couch potato,” happily chatting away while lounging in her favorite comfy spots.Lucy appreciates affection on her terms. She’s not a fan of having her rear end touched, but she absolutely loves a good chin scratch when she’s feeling social. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll gladly share her quirky personality and sweet moments with the people who respect her boundaries.Because of her home history and behaviors observed in the shelter, Lucy will do best as the only pet in the home. She’s also looking for a calm environment with kids 13+, where family members can give her space when she needs it and honor her unique preferences. If you’re searching for a charming, chatty companion who enjoys quiet companionship and comfy couches, Lucy could be the perfect match for you.
