Lottie came to LOAR via a stray surrender. This sweet girl was hanging out in the finder's garage until we had space in our facility. They thought she was such a sweet cat and deserved a chance at an indoor life and we agree. Lottie is a doll, beautiful and affectionate. It's as if she knows she is safe now. Lottie might prefer to be your one and only as she tends to try for all of your attention when other cats come towards her while she is being loved on. She does not go after others and we do occasionally see her rubbing against other cats and sometimes snuggling with them so we are not sure if some of this behavior (attention grabbing) will pass once she is settled or if it is just her personality. We do think Lottie would be fine with a calm, patient, and well mannered cat who is fine with sharing your attention as again she is not aggressive but maybe just has not learned all of the social rules of being a cat yet. She grew up outside so resources were harder to come by so Lottie may have just learned this behavior as a way to protect herself. A new home and family that is willing to love Lottie ALOT and provide her with LOTS of attention is what this beauty is really…
