From Living The Dream Rescue

Koda, lovingly nicknamed Brownie, is a sweet and gentle kitty with a heart full of love. He can be a little shy at first and may tuck himself away while he gets used to new surroundings, but with patience and kindness, he warms up quickly. Once he knows he's safe, his playful side shines through - he adores feather wands, plastic coils, furry mice, and paper balls. Koda is a curious digger who will need a high-sided litter box, and he's a foodie at heart - wet food is the key to his trust (and his best purrs). He loves treats and is used to free-choice dry food with wet meals twice daily. He enjoys being near his people in his own quiet way, often stretching out beside you on the couch or settling in at the foot of the bed for the night. Koda loves to snuggle on his own terms, but he does not enjoy being picked up or held and will do best with someone who respects his boundaries. Koda will not be a cat’s companion and is happiest having his own space, even though he can coexist with slow introductions. He prefers a calm environment where he can bond closely with his people rather than another pet. Koda would do best with older children who understand boundaries and a calm home…
