KAYONA IS LEARNING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE SAFE Not long ago, sweet little Kayona was living outdoors, unsure of what each new day would bring. Then she was trapped and brought to us and suddenly, her whole world changed. Now this adorable gray-and-white girl, with the cutest little white socks , is discovering something she may never have known before: what it feels like to be warm, protected, fed, and cared for. At first, indoor life was unfamiliar. New sounds, new smells, people nearby… so many things to figure out. But every day, Kayona is learning a little more. And we’re starting to see the kitten underneath all that uncertainty. She’s discovering TOYS! She loves to play, explore, and let her curiosity take over. Each playful moment feels like another little piece of her old outdoor life slipping away as she realizes she doesn’t have to worry anymore. Soon, Kayona will be introduced to another kitten so she can experience something else she deserves the comfort of having a kitten friend to play with, cuddle with, and grow up beside. Kayona is still in quarantine right now, so meet-and-greets will need to be scheduled a little further out. But we’re already hoping there’s…
