MARCH 2026 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. KAREN WILSON and her 4 siblings (JOSH RUSO - AETHENA & MAY GRANT and EDDIE DIAZ were saved from a hoarding case in Watts, California. They were all barley surviving. Our girl KAREN WILSON is doing great!! We named all the cats that were saved from that place after the characters in the show 911. Meet KAREN WILSON, a gentle and affectionate Domestic Shorthair Bombay mix from Watts, California. With her sleek black coat and soulful eyes, KAREN WILSON is the kind of cat who finds comfort in the simple things in life…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.
