Over a century ago, Sigmund Freud introduced the world to the id, the ego, and the superego, thus conceiving of a structure for the human psyche. Today, we bring you the best thing out there for your human psyche: three darling little kittens! A far cry from the heady self-awareness of psychoanalysis, these affectionate animals know exactly how to take your mind off your troubles and put you at ease. Despite how much time they spend together, these three kittens’ personalities are as different as their namesake concepts. First, there’s Superego, a fun-loving little floof that moves through the world with the ease and lightness of a Koosh ball getting passed around a discussion circle. She loves to take her time, looking with wonder at the world around her so long that her siblings will leave her in the dust. Her solution? To call out to you until she finds a place to lay her head (with its charmingly long ear whiskers that sway in the air conditioner breeze). Id is the boldest of her siblings, always eager to explore new hiding spots and curl up closer and closer to your face.
