From Midwest Pet Refuge

Highway – the One‑Eyed FirecrackerHighway earned her name the hard way. She was spotted scrunched up in the middle of Highway 1 as cars flew past within a foot of her tiny body. She was the lone survivor, and she fought for that title with everything she had.Today, Highway is a feisty little thing with a whole lot of attitude packed into her small frame. Having only one eye that sees clearly doesn’t slow her down one bit — if anything, it just adds to her mischievous charm. She’s spicy, bold, and always on the move, the kind of kitten who believes every room is a racetrack and every human is a potential playmate.Highway is a survivor, an adventurer, and a tiny tornado of personality. She’s looking for a home that appreciates her spark, her silliness, and her unstoppable spirit.Adoption fee: $75 Apply today at www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt Adoption includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccine(s), rabies vaccine, flea prevention, and deworming medication.Just a quick note—she's currently in a foster home, not at the shelter, so she won't be available for walk-in visits. If you'd like to meet her, we'll need to schedule a meet and greet in advance. Let us know what days work…

How adopting Highway works

Midwest Pet Refuge decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
