From St. Francis of Assisi Animal Rescue

Hermione takes her time, and once you understand her, you'll get why she's worth it. Give her a quiet corner to settle into and she'll reward you with a whole personality. She's not a lap cat, and she doesn't pretend to be. Good conversation, yes. Lots of petting, absolutely. Being held? Hard pass. New places take her more than a minute to warm up to, and she's the type to find a good hiding spot while she gets the lay of the land. A calm household and a lot of patience are all she needs to come out and show you who she really is. Her kittens Harry and Ron are now adopted. Now, Hermione's ready for a chapter that's all hers. If a smart, independent girl with a soft side for the right person sounds like your match, Hermione would love to hear more about your home.

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Hermione works

St. Francis of Assisi Animal Rescue decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
