Birthday: February 14, 2014 Garfield is a handsome orange senior with a big heart and an even bigger purr. This sweet boy absolutely loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give. He’s the kind of cat who enjoys simply hanging out with his person, keeping you company and sharing quiet moments together. Garfield is very affectionate and expressive. He purrs easily and often, gives gentle kisses, and loves to rub his face against you while being pet. He’s also quite vocal, so expect him to chat with you and let you know how he’s feeling. Like many older cats, Garfield prefers affection on his own terms. He does not enjoy being picked up and will make some grumbly, unhappy sounds to let you know. However, when he’s comfortably beside you getting head scratches and pets, he’s a total lovebug. This beautiful orange boy is currently overweight and will need an adopter who is committed to helping him safely lose weight so he can enjoy his golden years in better health. He will also need a little extra help with grooming. Because he’s unable to properly clean himself, Garfield will need regular brushing and routine cleaning with pet wipes to prevent…
