Meet Fritatta, he is 2-3 years young and a shy guy who prefers to take life—and people—at his own pace. He’s still pretty unsure about us humans, but there is one very reliable way to get his attention: crack open a can of wet food and suddenly you’re much more interesting. He’s also a curious little guy, and that curiosity gives us hope that with time, patience, and a calm home, he’ll continue to come out of his shell. He would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with no kids, where nobody expects him to be a social butterfly overnight. He’s looking for someone willing to let him settle in on his terms—and maybe keep the wet food coming. While Fritatta is FIV-positive, it is not contagious to humans or other animals. It is safe for him to live with other kitties who are not FIV+. He takes Lysine daily to help support his immune system, and this medication will need to continue in his new home. Many FIV-infected cats can live happily with the virus for a long time, and in some cats, the virus may never cause illness.
