From Midwest Pet Refuge

Forge started life in a dangerous environment at the Portland Forge, where her mom kept moving the litter into unsafe spots. When she arrived, her eyes were crusted shut with dirt, grease, and debris, and she needed immediate care. Thanks to her foster mom’s dedication, Forge is now healthy, bright‑eyed, and officially old enough for adoption. She’s still settling in and showing us new bits of her personality every day, and we’ll keep updating her bio as she decides who she wants to be. (Her brother Scrap and her sister Hammer.)Meet Our Fabulous Foster-to-Adopt Kittens! Our young kittens are ready to go home now through our foster‑to‑adopt program. You take them home today, and the adoption is finalized after their spay/neuter surgery. Our rescue requires kittens to be adopted in pairs or into a home that already has a young, friendly cat. Kittens raised alone often struggle with social and behavioral development, while growing up with another cat helps them learn boundaries, burn energy, and become well‑adjusted adults. The adoption fee is $75 for a single cat/kitten and $125 for a pair.If you’re ready to bring home a pair of playful kittens—or add one to your friendly resident…

How adopting Forge works

Midwest Pet Refuge decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
