Please note there is no need to complete an adoption questionnaire on this page. We only need our Adoption Application Questionnaire completed at: https://www.catfurr.org/adoption-questionnaire/ (please copy/paste link) April 2026 - Flounder is doing great! I took him to the vet this past week (along with several other cat visits to Sound Cat!) and repeated his PCR test (swab eyes & back of throat). He was a trooper & no sedation needed. I just held him & he knew I was with him. He has really come a long long way from being VERY feral to just a “mushster”! Will take a few days to get the results, but hoping PCR will show that he is not contagious any more for the calici virus (Kitty pneumonia) which is contagious. It is much less contagious to cats that are vaccinated & all of ours have been, but airing on the side of caution. Just cant wait to get him out of that bathroom he has been locked up in for EIGHT weeks! Say a prayer for FLOUNDER! Enjoy his video! March 2026 - Flounder doing great! Eating, playing, purring, talking and overall doing much better, but still a bit congested. Very affectionate! Feb. 2026 - After successful dental surgery, Flounder is not doing well in…

How adopting Flounder works

Feline Urgent Rescue and Rehab decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
