From 9 Lives Cat Rescue of Oxford MS

Fitzhugh is a gentle, timid boy who had a rough start after being found as a stray behind a fitness club. The outside world taught him to be cautious, and because of that, he’s extremely shy at first. Fitzhugh needs a calm, quiet home without children, where he can feel safe and move at his own pace. He requires a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time—but the reward is truly special. Once Fitzhugh feels secure, his real personality shines. He becomes a very sweet, affectionate cat who loves to talk and carry on little “conversations” with his favorite person. One of his funniest quirks is his love of paper—no sheet is safe if Fitzhugh decides it looks like a snack! Fitzhugh will do best in a peaceful, low-stress environment where he can slowly build confidence and learn that love is permanent. If you’re someone with a gentle heart and the patience to let a shy cat blossom, Fitzhugh could become your most loyal and loving companion.
