FEBUARY 2026 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes, and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. DR TEMPERANCE "BONES" BRENNAN and 10 other cats were dumped in the Home Depot parking lot in Hawthorne, California. Our trapper friend was notified and she started trapping them. She took her because she was emaciated. Eyes were sunk in and a bad URI. She had a litter somewhere and she was too sick to release back. Because she was in such bad shape, we think the kittens all passed. I'm hopeful that they were saved by a rescue. We helped the trapper with 4 cats.
