Cleo is a gorgeous tabby/calico girl with beautiful, unique markings and a quiet, sensitive nature. While some cats immediately walk up to strangers demanding attention, Cleo is much more cautious. She is very shy and needs time to observe her surroundings and learn that the people around her can be trusted. Because of her timid personality, Cleo would be happiest in a calm, quiet household where she can establish a predictable routine without being overwhelmed by lots of activity. Her ideal adopter will understand that she may need time to settle in and won’t expect her to become comfortable overnight. For the right person, helping a shy cat learn to feel safe can be an incredibly rewarding experience. The little milestones—coming out of hiding, approaching on her own, relaxing nearby, and eventually seeking attention—mean so much when you know that trust has been earned. Cleo isn’t looking for the busiest house on the block. She’s looking for a peaceful place, a patient person, and the security of knowing she can finally relax and simply be herself.
