From Dallas Animal Services

Charles is a handsome, gentle soul with a heart as big as his whiskers. He loves quiet companionship, and soaking up affection from the people he trusts. Charles is FeLV/FIV positive and experiences recurring upper respiratory infections (URI), so he'll need an adopter who can provide ongoing veterinary care and a little extra attention to help keep him comfortable and healthy. Despite these medical challenges, Charles still enjoys life and has so much love to give. He would thrive in a peaceful indoor home with someone who understands that special-needs cats can make incredibly rewarding companions. Charles is looking for a family who will see beyond his diagnosis and cherish him for the sweet, resilient cat he is. If you're ready to open your heart to a truly special feline, Charles is ready to fill your home with love, gentle purrs, and gratitude.Due to limited shelter resources and the intensive level of care required, this animal is currently at risk for euthanasia. If interested in assisting this animal, please email [email protected] with your contact information so we can call you back.
