Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. CASSANDRA had 6 kittens in a very dangerous industrial recycle center in Compton, California. The babies were born in a abandoned car inside the recycling plant. The trapper was able to get the kittens to safety and went back for mom. Kittens were sent out to a rescue in San Diego, California. And once mom was caught, the trapper discovered she was a very super sweet, purring machine!!
