Sometimes, life changes in ways we never expect. Through no fault of her own, Casandra, lovingly known as Casia, was surrendered to our rescue. Leaving behind the only home she's ever known has been a big adjustment, but every day she's showing us just how resilient and loving she truly is. Casia is currently with a wonderful foster who is helping build her confidence and reminding her that she's safe, loved, and never alone. She may be shy when you first meet her, but give her a little patience and you'll discover an incredibly affectionate girl who simply wants to be loved. Once she trusts you, she'll happily lean into your pets and enjoy being close to her people. One of Casia's most beautiful features is her bright, expressive eyes. They have a way of telling you exactly how she's feeling. And with her darker coat and adorably chonky figure, her foster jokes that sometimes those bright eyes are the easiest part to spot when she's tucked away in her favourite cozy hiding place! Although Casia had never been exposed to other cats before coming into foster care, she's been adjusting beautifully and has been nothing but loving. Watching her grow more confident each day has been…
