This cat comes from a hoarding-type environment and is accustomed to the presence of a human caretaker but may be under-socialized due to limited individual interaction. They are used to indoor living and may adjust well to a home setting, though they can be sensitive to change. This cat may display initial shyness, hesitation with new people or environments, and a tendency to observe before engaging. They may show interest in human attention but not fully understand typical petting or handling, or may prefer limited interaction at first. Startle responses to sudden movements or noises may be more pronounced. This cat will benefit from a calm, predictable environment and a gradual approach to building trust. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, they are likely to become more comfortable and develop stronger social bonds over time.
