Meet Boots! At 16 years young, Boots may be a senior by the calendar, but she certainly hasn’t gotten the memo! This curious, confident, affectionate girl is still very interested in everything happening around her—and she has a surprisingly serious hunting instinct when a wand toy comes out.Boots absolutely loves companionship. She enjoys being near her person and has a wonderfully gentle way of asking for attention, whether that means reaching out a paw when you stop petting her or settling close enough to use your hand as a pillow. She’s affectionate without being demanding and seems happiest when she can simply share your space. And then there’s her playful side! Boots loves wand toys and stalking and pouncing on her “prey.” She’s also started playing independently and has a favorite Lamb Chop toy. After a successful hunting session, she may even gather another toy and add it to her growing collection. She currently has a four-toy “council,” because apparently every serious hunter needs a committee.Boots uses her scratching post and has excellent litter box habits. She is currently enjoying her own room in foster and has not yet had the opportunity to meet…
