Introducing Blue who has had quite the journey! When Blue came to us, he had lost all trust in humans. His owner had died and he and several other kitties lived alone for an unknown time before being rescued and he was depressed, frightened and had lost all trust in humans. Fortunately, a wonderful cat-experienced family stepped up to foster Blue. They understood that Blue needed time to feel safe and, with their love and patience, one day over a year later, something clicked! Blue broke through the wall he had created and decided to let himself be loved!!! Blue still has moments where he can be aloof, but he now loves being petted, willingly gives head butts and will push his head into your hand or crook of your elbow to get the attention he has sadly missed. Blue definitely enjoys laps and soft blankets and can be quite talkative with those who will listen! Blue’s fosters learn more about this handsome fellow each day as he reveals something new and positive. Blue’s ideal home will be with mature adults who will understand that he may backslide and need time and their patience to feel comfortable. Older children would be fine and he may appreciate another laid back…
