From Forever Love Rescue Inc

Meet Big OJ, a beautiful, big orange boy whose story is as moving as his spirit is gentle. His coat, warm as autumn sunlight, and his soft amber eyes hint at the sweetness he carries inside—but they also reflect the uncertainty of a cat who has known sudden loss and is learning to trust the world again. Big OJ once had a safe place to call home at a local cat sanctuary. It was a haven he understood, a rhythm he relied on—until a devastating fire changed everything. He is one of the lucky survivors, but the memories of that frightening day linger in the cautious way he moves and the timid glances he gives as he adjusts to life here at Kitty Corner. He’s gathering his bearings, trying to rebuild his sense of safety one small moment at a time. Beneath that understandable fear, though, lies a truly tender soul. He has lived peacefully with other cats and even shared space with dogs in his previous sanctuary home, showing that his heart is open and capable of forming bonds. At this time, however, we are seeking a forever home without young children—somewhere tranquil, understanding, and full of gentle reassurance—so Big OJ can heal at his own pace. This sweet survivor isn’t just…
