From Yolo County Animal Services Shelter

Meet Big Boy! Big Boy is a handsome kitty with a tender heart and the sweetest little meow! Big Boy came to us from a home where he lived with an elderly owner and several other cats. Losing the only home he's known has been a big adjustment for this sensitive boy, and he's understandably frightened in the shelter. Right now, he'd rather find a quiet place to hide while he figures out what's happened to his world. But there's something very endearing about Big Boy. Despite his fear, he'll sometimes offer the sweetest little meow, almost as if he's asking for a little reassurance. He responds to gentle kindness, and we know there's a wonderfully loving cat just waiting to blossom once he feels safe and learns to trust.Big Boy is looking for a quiet, patient home with someone who understands that some of the sweetest friendships take a little time. He needs a peaceful place to settle in, a gentle hand, and someone willing to let him find his confidence at his own pace.Your reward will be something truly special—a loving, devoted companion who will share his gentle heart with the person who gave him a chance. There's something wonderful about earning the trust of a sensitive cat…
