This grumpy girl wants someone to love but doesn’t know how to go about it. Bea is a tiny ticked tabby with a personality that fills up the room. This can be good or bad! Sometimes she will come jump on you and snuggle into your chest. Sometimes she will swat at you for walking too close to her. Bea came to us with a recently healed broken tail and leg. She has a reason to be defensive, even if we hope she will learn to feel safe. Touching her the wrong way hurts and scares her. Let her come to you, and don’t trap her, and she can be incredibly affectionate. Just don’t push your luck! It’s been said that cats teach us about consent. Bea has boundaries that don’t always make sense to others, but she is clear about them if you pay attention. Bea will hopefully relax and become more trusting as she gets to know a patient human and a safe territory. Bea is a tiny ticked tabby, both in terms of colorpattern and temperament. If you pet her, walk near her, or even look at her, she may growl. She gets mad at other cats who are near her.
