Meet Baker! The friendliest kitten you will ever meet. He came to the shelter in pretty rough shape- skinny, dehydrated and not doing well. Luckily, the shelter helped him pull through and now he is on the hunt for the best home he can find! I heard it's with you!!If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. PLEASE NOTE: Cats and kittens listed as "In Foster" are usually at a PetSmart Adoption Center in Springfield, MO (on Glenstone Ave) or at the PetSmart in Rolla, MO. If you'd like to meet them, you can go to those stores and the PetSmart Associates can assist you with an adoption. All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, are treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention and dewormed #adoptdontshop

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Baker works

Polk County Humane Society decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
