Aiden loved his person...his dad. Then, his dad passed away. Although Aiden still lived with his mom and human brothers, he was depressed. He felt they had taken his person away from him. Needless to say, he was not a happy camper!! During this time, his mom noticed that he was having issues and took him to the vet. They found out that he was diabetic. Just what he needed on top of everything else. Long story short, he did not enjoy his mom giving him the shots (where was his dad??). She needed one of the sons to help her. The situation was going to change with both sons going to college, and Aiden needed a new place. That is when he came to Purr-Fect Match as a foster cat. Working with the wonderful vets at our clinic, his glucose level has been regulated so that his weight is stabilized and he does not bottom out on insulin. He gets one insulin shot twice a day, and his foster mom hasn't had any trouble doing that...especially if he is eating! Goodness but this boy is food driven!! That makes some things easy. However, because he is diabetic, he does need to be fed only at the times he is getting his insulin shots. That can make him cranky, or as his foster mom puts it…
